File saving bug in 1.1.1 (7/Jul/05)?

Post by AndrewIC »

From time to time, saving an existing file(*) will result in the file being saved in the parent directory of the the directory originally containing the file, and with a filename composed of the orignal directory name concatenated with original filename.

For example, having opened D:\temp\test\fred.ss4, it will sometimes be saved as D:\temp\testfred.ss4.

I've not been able to work out exactly what combination of events triggers this, whether it is a File-Save, File-SaveAs, File-Quit, etc. The saved file appears otherwise intact.

Windows 2000, JRE 1.4.2_06, SigScribe4 4 1.1.1 (7/Jul/2005)

Andrew,

Thanks for this bug report. We'll certainly give it the mirror treatment (look into it). And thanks for the good and precise detail - that always helps.

Has anyone else noted anything similar?
Happy training,
