Upgrading a frame is possible, although not necessarily simple. Our general advice is to design for your ultimate requirement (and any intermediate steps which you can visualise) so that you know how many Levers and Slots you will require. It may then be possible to build the "eventual" fr...

Lever Throw

The standard drilling of Levers provides for throws of 4mm and 8mm Pull and Push. (There are two holes above the fulcrum and two below.)

Note that the first version of our kits provided throws of 3mm and 5mm.

Users may decide to adopt a non-standard drilling, but 8mm is the maximum practical throw.

Hi PhilliipChudley, The action of the level crossing lever is as it should be. However, when first release in its beta version, we had made an error which meant that the LC lever worked in the opposite sense. The screen shots came from that version, but we didn't change them because you can't actual...

Thanks for the question, robertm. It's a question that we imagine quite a few people are wondering about. Which is why we're currently preparing some circuit ideas to help those who need a little help with electronic issues, so your question has prompted us to put up at least a temporary page with r...

Hi signalman. The concept of templates for SigScribe4 seems like the way to go, so that a user could choose one to suit his/her railway of choice. We would try to make them reasonably easy to program so that the keener user could develop their own and hopefully be willing to share them with others. ...

Welcome back ianm. It isn't practical for MODRATEC to make its Lever Frame Kits in other than multiples of 6 at this stage. However, we're sure that a bit of "kit bashing" would enable you to do what you need. Obviously, for something as simple as two interlocked levers, it doesn't take Si...
