Will the ITF specification and an updated SigScribe4 (v1.2.9?) to be released to allow electrical locking to be specified?
Or do we have to wait until SigScribe4 v10?

conditional locking with 3 IF elements

I'm creating an itf for a layout I'm determined to build one day. But I'm almost at the point of pulling my hair. To reduce the number of levers in my frame, most signals on my layout have more than one valid route with no route indication being given - typical of Victoria, Aus, practice. 1 31N&...

I know it's been ages since the question was asked, but I think it'd be a great "Advanced" feature to have a text-based interface to what's been defined, even if it's just a matter of having the files being text-based.

Cool.
Looking forward to seeing how the conditional interlocking is done.

Btw, will there be an updated tutorial/manual released to explain how it'll all work?

Anywhere between 1 and 4 levers could be seen in real life, with 2 and 4 being the most common.

I have taken photos of a double-slip in a yard in Melbourne with hand levers using just two levers.

Wish list: SigScribe4 v2 (or SigScribe5)

I can see that it was antcipated in another thread in this section that the next version of SigScribe4 would be released in 2007, but it's now 2008 and the last release was June 2007.

I think I cleared out a lever without clearing some interlocking and routes. I'd added some routes then changed my mind on how I wanted things to be set up and found that I couldn't get it to work. And I'll have to re-do it all as I don't know an easy way to remove a "hanging" route/interl...

Locking distant until home is cleared

I'm mucking around with SigScribe4 to see how complex a track plan I can get and I seem to have got myself stuck abit. I've decided to try to economise on levers a bit and I have two distant signals operated by the one lever. The problem is that I can't seem to include the following home signal as a...

This sounds like a suitable application for the slot-wit's (assuming mechanical links to the signals). The distant would require BOTH (logic "AND") the home signal on the same post as well as the one ahead to be pulled before it will clear. The home signal would have to clear with EITHER (...
