I'm looking at MODRATEC frames for a garden railway application - and just read the useful thread on the topic... lots of questions answered there.
Because mine is a single line railway, it follows that a token will be required to access the running line. How would I go about incorporating a token lock into the release for the starter signal?
Two ideas that occur to me are:
1. Electrical locking, with the circuit broken by use of a keyed lock.
2. A mechanical stop bar that is lowered by the same mechanism.
I guess the real question is, am I just taking this whole thing a little too far?
What I actually want to achieve is a situation where, after an appropriate route is set, it is impossible to release the starter signal without having the correct block token inserted into an unlocking mechanism.
