Version 1.1.11 released

Post by modadmin »

Version 1.1.11 is now available for download http://MODRATEC.com/download.php .

This version is a step towards SigScribe10 that is currently under development. In particular, it borrows algorithms from SigScribe10 to enable the simulation of frames with conditional interlocking.

Ok, I'm having trouble with a .itf I've just made:

Code: Select all

5
1N:2B,3B,4N
1N:(2N)5N
1N:(3N)5N
1N:(2R)5N
1N:(3R)5N
2N:1N,4N,5N
3N:1N,4N,5N
4N:1R,2N,3N,5R
5N:2B,3B,4N
5N:(2N)1N
5N:(3N)1N
5N:(2R)1N
5N:(3R)1N
Which I intended to replicate this:

But instead I get this error:
Bar synthesis and placement wrote:ERROR! The following exception has been reported:
Invalid lock code [n].

1 should only lock 5 for 2R and 3R, not 2N and 3N.

Thanks for that, the error no longer shows.

My next problem is that levers 1 and 5 each operate three separate routes, selected based on levers 2 and 3.

The diagram is the same as this one:

but:
lever 1 = 2, 3, 4
lever 2 = 7
lever 3 = 6
lever 4 = Switch Out (locks 1R,2N,3N,5R)
lever 5 = 9, 10, 11
Automatics: 1, 5, 8, 12

So how do I get multiple routes off a single lever, from different signals? I've tried the "BW" option but my computer "ding!"s and it doesn't work. The only way I can think of for this to work, would be to allow the .itf to define routes as well, i.e. 5N-A:~~~, 5N-B:~~~ etc.

There is no point in adding any route definitions to your SigScribe4 file. They are ignored when you interlock from table. The way to do it is to connect multiple signals to the required lever.

Thanks for that - got the frame working, and I'm happy :P

Any chance of having track circuit detection in SS10? :P
