Lever counter

Post by Steamtostay »

Hi all,

another idea:

When you finish designing the track plan, and click 'protect', the program calculates how many levers you will need, assuming everything is on it's own lever (so no interlocked crossovers, etc.). It gives you that number of levers, rounded up to the nearest six. When you have finished the levers, it then re-calculates, removing as many white levers as possible from the right-hand side only. So, if you have:

"7-W-13-W-6-WWWWWWWW"

from the first calculation, and then you click 'protect lever frame', it will automatically remove the last six white levers, for:

7-W-13-W-6-WW

Thus, this will save a lot of time for the user.
