½ English Turnouts are known in central continental europe as like single slip (diamond) crossings. The slip blades are inside the crossing diamond.
It has for levers but mostly two of them combined by mechanismn, so that from two directions only the dirictly crossing is available and the other two directions can be reached by diverging routes.
