Dear Subscriber,

You may be interested to know that when MODRATEC attends the Queensland
Model Railway Show at The Workshops Rail Museum, North Ipswich, this
weekend, it will represent 10 years of business for us.

The first Model Railway Show at The Workshops was held in October 2004, and
that was also the first time that MODRATEC revealed its products to the
public. It was a very fitting venue to launch our concept, firstly because I
am Ipswich-born, and secondly, because I spent many wonderful hours
exploring the workshops in the days when they were running at full capacity,
and when a teenager could front up, sign an indemnity, and wander wherever
one wished.

We didn't sell anything, because our only product at that time was
customised interlocked mechanical lever frames. Or you could say that we
were selling the idea.

Ten years on, we will be at the 11th show.

For those able to attend, please come and say hello, and take a turn as
signaller on our MODRATEC Experimental Railway. Also please note that the
show will be closing earlier than the Museum - 4pm on Saturday and 3:30pm on
Sunday.

We will have our 2015 wall calendars available at the special price of
$9.90. Next year's calendar is sub-titled "The Magic of Railways and
Signals". We describe it a refreshingly different with many unique photos
from around the world.

Also available are our popular wire-in-tube (WIT) Starter Packs, our special
buy terminal blocks - 120 terminals for $11, and illuminated tweezers for
just $8.80.

Keep sending the right signals!

Very best regards,
Harold
