Signalling Calendar

Post by modadmin »

We are considering publishing a wall calendar for 2014. So we are seeking suitable photos from our customers and friends.

Photos should be of high resolution and suitable for large format printing. The subject may be any railway scene (including model) of any era, but must include railway signalling as a significant feature. Photos must be the original work of the person submitting the work.

Those whose photos are used will receive a free calendar and will be credited with a personal or professional promotion as applicable.

Photos should be sent to pics@MODRATEC.com complete with details of location, date, etc.

You'll need to be quick. We need to commit in just a few weeks.

The calendars will be of high quality paper suitable for long-term collection and will be a limited run with each calendar individually numbered and signed.

The layout of the calendar is now finalised and nearly ready to go to the printer.

Here is a list of the photographers whose work is included:
  • Stephen Buck, Australia
    Phil Chudley, England
    Chris J E French, Australia
    Derek Grant, England
    Les Grosvenor, Scotland
    Graeme S Henderson, Australia
    David Honer, Australia
    Graeme Lewis, Australia
    Roger Lloyd, Australia
    Derek Mundy, Wales
    Alan Sedgwick, England
    Arne Tillbom, Sweden
    Terry Tracey, England
    Alex Wardrop, Australia
    Tony Weber, Australia
There are photos from Australia, UK, and Sweden. Most photos are of real railways, some on preserved lines, while a few demonstrate the skill of railway modellers.

We hope that you will enjoy what we have produced.
