Originally, MODRATEC had specified that a 2.35mm drill be used for holes in locking bars. This was to produce an interfernce fit with the locking pins. While this size was successful in many situations, some customers have found that insufficient interference exists. This is because there are many variables involved - the method of drilling, drill speed and pressure, drill tolerance, pin material tolerance. Consequently, we have changed our recommendation to 2.30mm. We believe that this will provide a more satisfactory result. _________________ All the best from "modadmin"
