Shunt Limits/fixed signals

ive come accross a problem on the version 1, or maybe it isnt a problem and i havent figured a way round it haha. ive put in a shut limit board, but when ive put a fixed main signal, not a sub, ive found that the shunt limit over rides it so i cant signal a train passed it at all when its only there...

that is true yes, but ive got a layout that is a triangle junction, and i dont have the room to put in horizontal lines on some aspects of the diagram

edit undo and also signal positioning

would it be possible to have an edit, undo choice if i make a mistake. and also at the moment i can only place signals on horizontal lines, now in the real world, ive got signals that need to be placed on diagonals and vertical lines ...

oh and signal 8 *next to point 7 allows to go to the shunt limit after signal 3* and also into the siding how can i allow that with no route indicator?
