The annual conference of ANZACPE will be held in Perth, WA, from 31st August to 4th September. The following is an extract from the conference programme.
After 42 years of Clinical Pastoral Education in Australia, our 2008 Conference seeks to provide a reflective space to reassess our identities as clinical pastoral supervisors and educators working in the face of winds of change. In our world of global communications, do we need different models of superrvisory training, accreditation and association? Can CPE survive without a national voice and integrated structures of support? How can we mine clinical pastoral education in life-giving ways, that move us beyond the survival mode? What are our resources, our history and identity that can lead and sustain us into a new future?
Perhaps some who attend would care to provide feedback by replying to this post.
